Medieval Marceline

Medieval outfit based on the colors for Marceline the Vampire Queen from "Adventure Time" to match up with Finn the Human at Costume College 2024. Painted posterboard ax costume for ukulele, red ribbon tippets, and black veil for black hair.

Cotehardie

Navy linen (blend?) cotehardie has long sleeves and gores on sides, hand sewn eyelets lace up front.
Pattern: Period Patterns 21 Ladies' Renaissance Cotehardies & Sideless Surcoats sizes 6-20 circa 14th-15th Century. This pattern feels like it was made for someone with larger bust shoulders and slim hips. Had to add sooo much fabric to the hips and the bust/shoulders were too large.

Size 20
Surcoat took in back upper seam about 1" and tapered.
Lots and lots of modifications to get to fit including adding more fabric strips on hip sides.

Grey polyester sideless surcoat.
