1952 reproduction retro Butterick 4918 pink silk evening dress with ivory spotted dotted net
This dress was started before or in 2011 with ivory net found at a Joann's Fabric in Phoenix, Arizona. It languished in a UFO box until 2015 when it was finished for a Midsummer's Night Ball. Dress is pink silk dupioni with ivory spotted/dotted net. Bodice is boned, zipper back, hidden side pockets, polyster beige skirt lining. The bodice has four layers: silk lining with boning, white cotton canvas, pink silk, and netting. Front detail comes with an attached wrap.
