	Red satin chrysanthemum brocade bustle style dress that would be just the right thing for an Asian inspired PEERS event. Plus, it's just fun to say "chrysanthemum". Now if only I can remember that word for hangman or Scrabble. Items constructed for this costume:
	Fabric Red satin chrysanthemum polyester brocade and black satin polyester brocade with red crysanthemums, daggers, fans, gourds and other gold designs.
	Bodice Inspiration The first bodice was too short and not quite right, so these fashion plate and photo compilations were used to create the new bodice.
	Bodice Red satin chrysanthemum polyester brocade centered in black chrysanthemum polyester brocade with red ruffles on front and neck edge, gathered black chiffon puff sleeves with brocade edging and drawstring ribbon bow on edge, peplum, back-laced through buttonholes, and gold tone buttons on faux front edge. Black trim can be added as faux lacing across front. Pattern base Butterick 3012 .
	Underskirt Red satin chrysanthemum polyester brocade front gored underskirt has larger panel in the back that is gathered in back for more fullness and has hidden back pockets, ribbon drawstring on set waistband, back hook and eye closure. Pattern base Simplicity 5457.
	Bustle Black satin chrysanthemum polyester brocade bustle overskirt is tied to underskirt with drawstring ribbons. Last set of ties can be left undone to create a train effect. Pattern base Simplicity 5457.
	Apron Red satin chrysanthemum polyester brocade apron/swag to go over underskirt and bustling. Pattern base Simplicity 5457
	Reticule Red chrysanthemum polyester brocade reticule with red tassle, black satin lining, and ribbon drawstring. Pattern base Simplicity 5418.
	Bustle Pad Light canvas type cotton bustle pad filled with polyester, grossgrain ribbon waist/tie. Pattern base Simplicity 5457.
