Edwardian Hat
Edwardian hat

Butterick's B4697 View D hat is a Making History pattern with the dates 1890-1900 printed on it. The patterns were used, but different construction methods were utilized. Heavy buckram was doubled and wire sewn onto the buckram. Bindings and construction was sewn instead of glued. Brim was put on upside down, so trim and shape now mirror image of pattern cover.
